A professional in telecom Outside Plant Construction, with OSP experience and technical skills learned with 32 years of work knowledge.

Esperance in OSP network, I have built aerial and underground plant (for Verizon) per CPUC regulations following GO95 and GO128 standards along with knowledge JPA and Form 48 of Outside Plant Construction. I have 18 years of placing experience, 6 years of Splicing experience, plus 8 years of being a Local Manager (Supervisor) in Huntington Beach CA. running an OSP crew of 17 to 25 employees.

For the past 8 Years (2004 to 2012) I was promoted to run a splicing crew of 17 plus employees, we spliced fiber optic cable for the Verizon Fios build in Huntington Beach, CA. completing work orders in a safe and timely with budget always in mind for Verizon and customer needs. Also my crew spliced copper cables when needed.

Splicing experience (1998-2004) includes fiber splicing and copper splicing and testing fiber and copper splices, including T1s and other Hi Capacity lines.

Placing experience (1980-1998) this included placing aerial and underground copper and fiber cables per GO95, GO148 standards and Verizon trained standards.

Awards 2006 Leadership Awards Winner from Verizon I’m one of twenty-five to receive this award for pre fielding (did prefield plant for vacationing Supervisors for months at a time thru out my career) fiber placing, count and engineering issues for connectivity of pathways for Outside Plant Construction during Fios project along with running 22 Verizon splicers and contract crews plus monitoring material and supply.
